VEGAN RAW CHOCOLATE MOUSSE RECIPE

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe avocados, pitted and scooped
  • 6 tbsp raw cocao powder
  • 1/4 cup of almond milk
  • 1 tbsp coconut butter
  • 1 -2 tbsp honey
  • 1 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 tsp of Himalayan salt
  • ½ banana
  • Fresh raspberries, for garnish

Optional

  • Vegan whipped cream, for serving
  • Coconut Flakes for the topping

Instructions:

1. Blend Ingredients

> In a food processor or high-speed blender, combine the avocado flesh, cocao powder, almond milk, honey, vanilla extract, cocnut butter, bannan and salt. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Adjust the sweetness if necessary by adding a bit more honey.

2. Chill

> Transfer the mousse into serving dishes or a large bowl. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to set. This step is crucial for achieving the perfect mousse consistency.

3. Serve

> Once chilled and set, take the mousse out of the refrigerator. Garnish each serving with fresh raspberries. For an extra touch of indulgence, add a dollop of vegan whipped cream on top.
